Some requirements in the model analysis of steel structures

Violeta-Elena Chitan, Lucian Strat

Abstract

The use of physic models in the analysis of mold steel frames behaviour, besides some well–known advantages, presents also the feability of permiting the achievement of sufficiently small samples made of the same material. In the experimental study of steel structures subjected to dynamic and earthquake–like actions, we do resort in most cases to model investigations.
